Every summer we schedule camp trips to dynamite Amusement Parks and other exciting places of camper interest. In the past we've taken campers to: Dorney Park & the Wild Water Kingdom, Hershey Park, the Wayne County Fair, Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, Montage Alpine and Water Slides, Rafting trips on the Delaware, Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Festival Park in Virginia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Virginia Beach, Boston, Toronto, Kings Dominion, Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland Amusement Park, the Ontario Science Center and a whole lot more!

Each 4 week session features an all-camp trip at a major Amusement Park. There are no extra charges for these trips. We hire a fleet of coach buses, pack up our campers and staff, and leave for the Amusement Park right after breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served in our reserved pavilion at the park. Campers entering the 6th grade and younger are supervised by 2 counselors assigned to the cabin group the entire day. Senior campers buddy-up and are supervised by our senior counselors and senior staff members who are located throughout the park. We also have mandatory check-in times at our pavilion. At the end of the day, the buses are loaded, and we depart for camp... hopefully in time to make curfew!

In addition to our All-Camp Trips (which are included in the tuition) every summer we schedule a 3-Day Trip to a site of educational as well as entertaining interest for our campers. This trip is optional and limited to 50 campers who are 11 years old and older.

This summer's 3-Day Trip is scheduled for July 29th through July 31st, and we'll be heading to Boston and New England with an afternoon whale watching excursion, a full day at Six Flag's New England amusement park, site seeing in historic Boston along with a tour of Fenway Park Stadium and the world famous Boston Duck Boat Tour. The itinerary is superb!

DAY 1: Whale Whatching ! - We head to the New England Aquarium right on the Atlantic Ocean where we will board the Voyager III for Boston's best whale watch! Enjoy the view as this high-speed catamaran whisks us to the whale feeding grounds just 30 miles east of Boston. Our destination is Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and other marine life. This area is home to several kinds of large whales, including humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, as well as pilot whales and the critically endangered northern right whales. White-sided dolphins may also put in an appearance. It's simply amazing and breathtaking. We return later to the hotel where we relax, go for a dip in the pool, and then enjoy with our annual 3-Day Trip Pizza Party!

DAY 2: Six Flags New England Amusement Park! - HERE WE COME! We’ll spend the entire day at Six Flags New England Amusement Park. This park is AWESOME! The park features eight great coasters including “Bizarro - Ride of Steel”. “Bizarro” has been ranked as the #1 coaster in the United States by World Magazine. It’s also a recipient of the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Award ranking as one of the top steel roller coasters in the world!!! If the Six Flags rides aren’t enough, check out the incredible water park! Six Flags Water Park, Hurricane Harbor, features all the standard water rides plus the Big Kahuna, the Typhoon “Water Coaster”, and the amazing Starburst Tornado! The Starburst Tornado is a
spectacular adventure ride that will drop you more than seven stories into a 60-foot-tall, 132-foot-long water funnel culminating in 5,000 gallons of churning water!
Check out the park at www.sixflags.com/parks/newengland.

DAY 3: Boston! - We'll take in some of the best-known historic sites of Boston. After that we'll visit Fenway Park, stadium of one of the most storied major league baseball teams, the Boston Red Sox. You’ll get a behind the scenes look at Fenway Park... Touch the Green Monster! See views from the Press Box! See where Babe Ruth got his professional start! Soak up tons of history from this legendary organization! Then we’ll take one of the most unique rides in Boston... The Duck Tour! The fun begins as soon as you board your "DUCK", a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. First, you're greeted by tour ConDUCKtors, who'll be narrating your tour. You'll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill and the TD Bank Garden, Boston Common and Copley Square to the Big Dig, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more. And, as the best of Boston unfolds before your eyes, your ConDUCKtor will be giving you lots of little known facts and interesting insights about this unique and wonderful city. And just when you think you've seen it all, there's more. It's time for "Splashdown" as your ConDUCKtor splashes your DUCK right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, the kind of view you just won't get anywhere else!

Trips include: Jericho Ice Cream Parlor & Alice's Cow Palace Trips, Villa Como Pizza Parties, Montage Water Slide and Alpine Slide, White Water Rafting Trips, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame Trips and those incredible edible Trips to Town!

So go for it!!!

Whether we call them Big Trips or Little Trips, I think it's clear that there's a lot happening at Camp Lohikan! So what do you say? Come on, join the gang and have FUN!
