It’s true that we operate a summer camp program that features more than 65 exciting arts, sports, and adventure activities. But our equestrian program isso excellent and comprehensive that many campers spend the majority of their time at the barn! It's an AWESOME Equestrian Program. Our instructors are excellent and our horses are top quality. We offer small group and private lessons, and also schedule recreational trail rides. We even do horseback overnights! Campers participate ininter and intra-camp horse shows, learn how to take care of a horse, and can even assist with barn work. Advanced riders qualify for instruction injumping.
It’s a complete riding program designed for beginners through advanced riders. And the best part... IT'S INCLUDED IN THE TUITION at no extra charge!
Horseback riding is included in the camp tuition for one period a week. This would include a riding lesson in the ring. Qualified campers are permitted to participate on trail rides. Campers are also encouraged to participate in horseback overnights, evening trail rides, horse shows and our horse care clinic which are all included in the camp tuition
Our goal is to improve the riding skills of each participant and have FUN and achieve personal growth in the process. Beginner through advanced riders are grouped by skill level. Experienced staff lead and teach each of classes and provide an atmosphere which is supportive and encouraging.
We not only teach you how to ride, we also teach you how to take care of a horse! Here's your chance to learn everything you need to know to take care of your own horse. You'll learn how to groom a horse, tack, clean equipment, feed a horse, organize the barn, and even muck the stalls!
