Camp Lohikan's Gymnastics Program features all of the popular gymnastics events and provides campers with beginner to advanced level instruction.
Campers learn basic moves and safety procedures in everything from tumbling to the uneven bars. Instruction is provided on an individual basis and in small groups by a staff of trained coaches under the supervision of Lohikan's Gymnastics Program Director, Krissy Wright. Krissy holds Level II Coach Elite Credentials and has over 15 years of professional coaching experience. Krissy's staff is composed of highly skilled college-age instructors. The multi-level instructional program is augmented by an active schedule of Gymnastic Exhibitions and Inter-Camp Meets. Everyone who wants to participate is guaranteed a chance to take part in the fun!
The Gymnastics Program is located in Lohikan's 5300 square foot Gymnastics Center. All gymnastics equipment is the best, up to date and safest available and includes: a brand new spring floor, professional-style uneven bars, parallel bars, balance beams, vaulting horse, rings, springboard and mats galore! Safety is emphatically stressed. Spotters are always in position when campers practice. Thick crash pads, safety belts, and other appropriate safety accessories are also used to ensure that our gymnastic program is as SAFE as it is EXCITING!
